There is major concern for asbestos testing and removal because if asbestos were to become airbourne from demolition and construction, the fibers will enter the lungs through normal breathing and stick themselvs to the lungs, and eventually causing lung painful lung problems and ultimately death. There are many types of asbestos but the 2 main types seen in the Unites States are chrysotile and amphibole. These types of asbestos are strong and fibrous and commonly used years ago for insulation, Navy ships, roofing materials, tiles, etc.
